The National Rifle Association (NRA) is the largest and best source of firearms instructors, safety instruction, and hunting training, both in Indiana and the United States. The NRA also provides firearms and tactical training for police departments and law enforcement agencies. Finally, the NRA is the leading force protecting the rights and privileges of gun owners, hunters, and sportsmen.
Shooting sports, whether handgun, rifle, or shotgun, are enjoyed by millions, and guns must be handled properly and safely. Safety is the primary concern in all NRA firearm education and training. Most gun owners are very responsible and careful, but many, also, have never had formal training in proper gun handling and shooting. Indiana Firearms Training exists to help people learn to use guns properly and safely.
Indiana does not require formal firearms instruction to obtain a license to carry a handgun, but training in highly recommended, because carrying a handgun is an awesome responsibility.
Indiana Firearms NRA Training classes also meet and exceed training requirements to obtain carry permits in both Ohio and Florida.
